fall fertilizer

Hey everyone!  Just wanted to share a quick tip with ya’ll regarding fertilizing your lawn this fall.  For many of you, this may seem like a no-brainer; however, for others (like me!), stuff like this doesn’t really come as second nature.

The best thing that you can do for you your lawn this fall, as far as fertilizing goes, is simply to fertilize your grass one time before it goes dormant for the cold season.

Whether you choose to fertilize your lawn yourself, or you trust the hands of a professional to take care of it for you, it’s important to make sure that the correct TYPE and AMOUNT of fertilizer is being applied for your specific grass type.  Instructions on the fertilizer bags are pretty accurate, so only apply what is recommended per every 1000 feet.

Help out your grass in this way by giving it a nice boost in minerals and nutrients before it hibernates for the winter, so it will come back lush and green in the spring.
