Coastal Georgia is a tricky place to live sometimes. Well, at least when it comes to the weather, and our well-laid plans have a tendency to get disrupted by a stray thunderstorm from time to time!
Those rainy days (planned or unplanned!) can mean soft soil, and any kind of heavy equipment is definitely going to leave it’s mark on a healthy lawn, especially things like lawn mowers.
Grass, leaves, and other debris that you stir up are also likely to stick and mat onto your mower, clogging the deck and making it that much harder to maintain later on.
Mowing when the ground is dry will help you avoid gouging out those deep and unsightly ruts in your lawn, and also help preserve the power and ability of your equipment, without the hassle of constantly repairing your yard, or hosing off your equipment.
That means a healthy environment for your grass, and (BONUS!) more free time for you, later!
