winter jasmin 11-28-14Are you ready for springtime blooms!! YAY, so are we! And the cool thing is, you may not have to wait as long as you think.

Winter Jasmine is a flowering shrub that is not very well-known, and gives you all the great, cheerful color of summer, but during the dead of winter! It’s small, numerous butter-yellow or linen-white  blooms are thickly sprinkled all along winter jasmine’s long, willowy stalks.

Not to be confused with forsythia, winter jasmine stays green all year round and blooms for a very long period of time during the cold months.

Plant as cascading shrubs over retaining walls or hillsides for a stunning effect.
