Well, summertime is steadily moving along here in south Georgia, and I don’t know about y’all, but this Michigan native is looking forward to autumn colors and cooler temperatures and jackets and boots and soups and hot chocolate…ahhh!  The list could go on.

But summer still reigns for now, and when it comes to your landscape flowers, well let’s just say that many plants have stopped blooming and lots of the early summer color has vanished.  So if your gardens or planting beds need a little blast of color, try something like ‘Lime Light’ hydrangeas or Encore! azalea varieties, both of which will continue blooming even at the end of summer and are show-stoppers in terms of big, bold blooms.
