You may not be familiar with the plant known as “Tree of Heaven”.  If you DO know it, you know that it is definitely something to watch out for!

The USDA profiles this species as invasive, citing that it chokes out and overruns native species growing nearby, as well as being responsible for breaking up concrete and pavement as it grows, including building foundations.

To identify Tree of Heaven, look for it’s distinctive long stalks sprouting from the main trunk, almost appearing like fern in tree form.
