Though it may fool the untrained eye, Abelia is an actually an evergreen. We think it’s a great choice for beds and borders, and summer time is the best time to enjoy it, since it can take the full heat of the Georgia sun. It’s drought-tolerant structure makes it easy to maintain, while it’s sweet-smelling blooms are very attractive to butterflies.
Try the larger “Canyon Creek” Abelia for vibrant yellow-copper foliage and white-pink blooms, or “Rose Creek” for compact size and fragrant white blooms. Enjoy!
